Mhondoro Safari Lodge & Villa in Limpopo has been crowned ‘Best Family Villa in the World’ at the 2025 Haute Grandeur Global Excellence Awards, adding to its growing list of international accolades.

The luxury lodge, set within the malaria-free Welgevonden Game Reserve, also secured three additional awards: Best Pool Villa in Africa, Best Bush Lodge in South Africa, and Best Wedding Destination Hotel in South Africa.

Recognised as one of the highest honours in the global hospitality industry, the Haute Grandeur Awards celebrate excellence across hotels, spas, and restaurants worldwide. Mhondoro has been a consistent recipient since its opening in 2016, when it was named ‘Best Newcomer Lodge in Africa’.
