Range Rover drowned by floodwater in Free State

After heavy rains in the Free State over the past days, one vehicle owner sits with a massive loss after their Range Rover got swept away by floodwater.

According to News24, the driver was the only person in the car and escaped unharmed after the car got swept away when they tried to cross the R30 between Allanridge and Bothaville. The driver has not been identified.

The area has received above-average rainfall throughout the summer and farmers have already experienced significant loss due to crops drowning.
