Johannesburg – Lagos

Starting 6 October 2025, SAA will add two extra flights on Mondays and Tuesdays, bringing the weekly count to six.

Johannesburg – Accra

From 1 October 2025, additional Wednesday and Friday flights will also take this route to six flights per week.

Johannesburg – São Paulo

Beginning 10 December 2025, flying twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, the route will increase to five flights per week.

According to reports by Travel News by TNW, these augmentations are set to operate through to 11 February 2026, ensuring enhanced connectivity during the high-travel season.

SAA’s Chief Commercial Officer, Tebogo Tsimane, summed it up best: the expanded schedule reflects the airline’s commitment to offering “more flights, more frequencies, and more opportunities to connect Africa to the world” and a bid to better serve travellers this festive period
