From Kruger to Mozambique

Ané Fourie set off on an epic adventure from Letaba Rest Camp in Kruger National Park to Barra, Mozambique in December 2011 / January 2012. The adventure involved a few 4x4s, some good friends and the best of both the beach and the bush.

Another great day in Croatia

Megan Nowell had the honour of cycling alongside (well, mostly behind) three epic South African chaps on the Croatian leg of their Eurocycle madness (cycling from Lisbon to Istanbul).

What SUP Zanzibar

Christo Smeda regularly competes in adventure racing. This trip around Zanzibar on SUP (stand up paddle boards) has not been done before and so he and three friends decided around a braai one night that this is an awesome adventure that we just have to undertake.

Esmeralda van der Walt and her husband Roy spotted two lions in the Kruger National Park. After waiting for quite a while for them to make a move my husband began to sing. Just then, the big boy lifted his head.

Beautiful Barcelona

On Tessa Brown’s first -ever trip overseas she visited Italy, Switzerland and Spain and shared this video is of Barcelona, a city much like Cape Town, culturally rich, vibrant, full of people with a heart for life.

Road tripping with Raquel

Raquel Osuna Maza took a friend and a pink camper van through four states (California, Utah, Nevada and Arizona) in 20 days with no fixed plans. In this video she captures the moment, the long drives through the endless highways and each one of the spectacular and breathtaking landscapes that made a road trip what it should be.

The rain in Prague

Kiki Kargaard and her sister and took a trip to Prague, a city they had always dreamed of seeing. Little did they know that the worst flood in years was set to hit Prague.

Adventures in Ethiopia

Marlese Lenhoff went up to Ethiopia to visit my boyfriend who had been working there for a few years and realised how few resources one actually needs: a donkey, a goat, some chickens and a mud-house. Even up in the remote hills of Ethiopia, she found a global platform that established a non-verbal communication with rural Ethiopians, soccer!

The Wild Side of Zimbabwe

Micaela Hamilton decided to take a road trip into the wildest part of Zimbabwe: Mana Pools. In this stunning national park, they discovered a wild paradise and decided to explore the bush and make the most of living on the “wild” side in Zimbabwe.

My Thailand Island

Vaughan McShane spent nine months teaching English on the beautiful island of Koh Samui. He loved it so much we wanted to help other travellers find their way to it and around it. This film showcases some of our favourite spots to shop, eat, swim, get massages and more.
