A Russian model was on a safari holiday with her boyfriend near the Kruger National Park recently and received a special welcome from an elephant roaming about outside her lodge.
The couple was on holiday in South Africa and settling into their suite at the luxury Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge, part of the Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve, near the Kruger National Park, in the Greater Kruger area.
The elephant approached the couple’s private plunge pool, looking through the glass window at the activity inside the couple’s suite. Dipping its trunk in the pool water, this quirky ellie unfurled his makeshift hose in the couple’s direction, making a great splash and spray against their window.
The model, Lara Leito, happened to be celebrating her birthday and described the interaction as a ‘#waterfight’. ‘That’s one way to say Happy Birthday,’ Leito captioned her video post on Instagram.
